I love that our piece inspired such a beautiful post from you. Thank you for linking to our piece! I definitely feel lonely when I’m trying to belong. And sometimes when I’m sitting right next to my husband. My heart goes out to you as you make your way through this challenging time. 🫶
I've lived alone since I was about 26 and figured out that I prefer living by myself. It makes it challenging to find a partner since most women prefer to cohabitate. Oh well.
I don't feel lonely at all. I feel grateful for my friends such as you. 💕
Sage, I love you. Here are just some spontaneous thoughts. Our biggest fear is not to be alone, but to feel alone. Or maybe it is to feel unsafe. But of course this is not our heart feeling. This is our mind searching and convincing us that there is nobody hete. This is our mind telling us not to reach out because nobody can understand or be trusted. Most of the time our mind creates a sense of danger. And when this untrusting mind isolates itself in defense mode or meets other untrusting minds the result is lojeliness. This is why we feel so good in Nature. Nature is all heart. A tree, a flower, a mountain view, toes in sand - we always feel connected. Safe. Ourselves. One look from our dog and we feel seen. I can sit in silence for days and feel completely connected when I can focus on my breath, the sensations of my body, remember that I am safe in my environment. This is so important. Can I find safety where I am. When I feel connected with something I am creating with my heart and hands. But put me alone with my terrified thoughts and all I find is loneliness. And we need humans. We don't have to be the same, we just have to find a smile we can trust. Often it just takes us smiling first. You are going to be okay. I know you will be. And you are not alone. 💕💕

Me too, honey!
I relate to all of this and love Robin Williams half as much as I love you; that's a whole lot.
I love you too, dear Prajna. Thank you for being here. Xoxo

Thank you, dear one. You’re not alone either. Love you too!💜
