Photo Image: Gracie Justice gazes upon an exquisite sunset in Pismo Beach, California, USA. She stands on the sand with a pink back pack and a clear umbrella covered in pink cherry blossom flowers. The sky is painted in streaks of orange, yellow, and blue. A mirrored view is reflected in the glassy toned water.

July has been home to the planted seed that has not yet broken through to the light.

How do you handle waiting? Is there anything in your life you’re currently waiting for?

In this personal note I will share with you five vignettes in waiting that I am experiencing right now and what I’m doing to manage the discomfort in the process.

1. Someone I know and love is dying, and I cannot go to say goodbye to them

2. An academy acceptance or denial that could change our lives

3. Awards that could carry us forward

4. Resolution to a long-standing conflict that has yet to be healed

5. A new therapeutic experience- presence on the waiting is part of the practice.

At the end, I share links to a few highlights of unexpected joy.
